{"id":36,"date":"2015-07-01T07:48:00","date_gmt":"2015-07-01T14:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/lisa\/post\/2015\/07\/01\/Hello-out-there.aspx"},"modified":"2021-11-24T11:23:34","modified_gmt":"2021-11-24T19:23:34","slug":"hello-out-there","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spacefold.com\/lisa\/2015\/07\/01\/hello-out-there\/","title":{"rendered":"Hello out there"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Besides one <a href=\"\/lisa\/2013\/07\/27\/If-youre-new-to-SSRS-2012-new-book\/\">book-review-by-request<\/a>, the last time I wrote anything on this blog was two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>As I <a href=\"\/lisa\/2013\/06\/09\/Everything-and-nothing\/\">explained<\/a> at that time, corporate NDA stuff made it difficult for me to write about what I was doing.<\/p>\n<p>And frankly what I was working on was less likely to yield interesting BI or SQL Server technology insights that I wished to share.<\/p>\n<h4>Here we go again&#8230;<\/h4>\n<p>I resigned from Infor a month and a half ago; yesterday was my last day.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going back to a job <a title=\"Dominican University of California in San Rafael\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dominican.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in academia<\/a>, and back to work as a DBA, with a large helping of SSRS in the mix.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t wait to see what happens next. &nbsp;And if I think it&#8217;s of any general interest, I&#8217;ll let you know about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Besides one book-review-by-request, the last time I wrote anything on this blog was two years ago.
