Besides one book-review-by-request, the last time I wrote anything on this blog was two years ago.

As I explained at that time, corporate NDA stuff made it difficult for me to write about what I was doing.

And frankly what I was working on was less likely to yield interesting BI or SQL Server technology insights that I wished to share.

Here we go again…

I resigned from Infor a month and a half ago; yesterday was my last day.

I’m going back to a job in academia, and back to work as a DBA, with a large helping of SSRS in the mix.

I can’t wait to see what happens next.  And if I think it’s of any general interest, I’ll let you know about it.
