Given the strict nature of airline security these days, we figured if we got up at 4:00am and left before 4:30, this would allow enough time to drive to the airport, check in, and not be worried about security delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we drove up to the terminal, we remembered that one of the drawbacks of the new security measures is that we couldn&#8217;t go with them to the gate. Only ticketed passengers are now allowed to go through to the gates. So we ended up dropping Derek &amp; Teresa off at the curb instead of going in with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an uneventful drive back home, we went straight back to bed and slept until 10.
