Clear Skies

Last night I went outside at about 11:30pm and noticed that the night sky was extraordinarily clear. I was actually checking to see if Mars had risen, but it hadn't. Instead, I was treated to a wonderful array of stars, down to 5th magnitude I'd say. Even some nice open clusters in Scorpios in the South were naked-eye visible. Cool.

This evening though, it's dusty again and there's nothing much to see. And the moon is making a nuisance of itself.
