Sherri arrived at around midday, if I remember correctly. She is on her way to Alabama to visit family, and as she's travelling by light plane, she makes lots of stops on the way, one of which to here in Vegas to spend a few days with us.

We mark the occasion by cooking everything we can find in the fridge on the gas grill, and making a pitcher of margaritas.

During dinner, we watch a DVD of a film called "Vatel", apparently based on a true story. We thought this would be a worthy addition to our "Food Movie" collection, but on review, it doesn't seem to measure up, although there are without doubt many amazing food dishes created as the plot unfolds.
