A Mortgage and Carpet

In an otherwise mediocre and work filled day, two rays of light fell across our desks. First, we locked a rate with one of our prospective mortgage companies, and secondly, Dupont rang up several times to confirm that the carpet installed (or going to be installed) in the new house will, in fact, be the one we originally chose.

So that was finally settled. (Or was it?)
